Blue Charms are perhaps the most used wet fly for Atlantic Salmon in Atlantic Canada. Blue Charms are often skated atop the water and across the current to entice an aggressive strike. A half hitch is tied at the base of the head of the fly to achieve the effect.  This version is barbless.
