Highland River Flies Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing Time

All our orders are processed and shipped out within 1-2 business days.

2. Shipping Address Changes

If you would like to change the shipping address for your order, please contact us by email and include your new shipping address. Once the order is shipped, we can not alter the shipping address.

3. Shipping Methods, Costs, and Delivery Times

Canada and Continental USA

Most orders of flies, tippet and leader are able to be shipped non standard lettermail. We will use this method on orders below $100.00 (after any discounts applied). There is no tracking on lettermail shipping. Shipping cost is $8.00 on orders below $75 and free between $75.00 and $99.99

Orders of $100 or more (after discounts applied) will be shipped by Canada Post trackable parcel with no cost to you. A tracking code will be sent to you by email or text immediately upon order fulfillment. No tracking is available for US orders.

In general, shipments are in transit for 4-8 days (Monday to Friday). 

Outside Canada

Shipping is calculated at checkout. 

Delivery times to US destinations are usually 5 - 10 days.

Tracking is not available.

4. Packages Damaged, Lost, or Missing While in Transit

If you have a suspicion of your parcel being lost or missing while in Transit, please contact us by email. We can contact the shipping company to investigate the issue.

If your package has indeed gone missing, we will send you a new one free of charge or send you a full refund.

If your package has arrived damaged, contact us and we will provide a replacement or refund as soon as possible.


5. Return Due To Change of Mind

Highland River Flies will happily accept returns due to change of mind as long as the request is received by us within 30 days of you receiving the item.

The item must be returned to us in the original packaging, unopened, and unused.

The cost of return shipping does not have to be paid by the customer. Once we receive the package, the refund will be processed and you will receive the full value of the product as a refund.
