The Hicks Muddler gets its name from my mentor in salmon fishing. This muddler has brought about countless magical moments on salmon streams. It can be found in white and lime options and is highly effective for both trout and sea trout. Unlike most muddlers, this fly is relatively easy to fish below the surface. Also, the white version is easy to spot in darker conditions, making it a bonus. The marabou gives it a lifelike appearance that salmon just can't resist. Lime, like white, is a tried and true color.
